Below you will find a brief description of our pricing and an example worksheet which shows the cost breakdown for an example event.

Bar: Host to provide all alcohol. Chef Ted to provide bar set-ups: Coolers, Ice, Soft Drinks, Mixers, Mineral Waters, Limes, Peanuts and Bar Naps @ $6.00. When Chef Ted supplies soft drinks there is always a mix on new things: Mexican Jarrito, Raspberry Izze, Orangina, Peruvian Inca Cola etc.

Service: is billed at $30.00 an hour per person to include anticipated set-up and break down to the satisfaction of the host to and from Chef Ted's warehouse. A good estimate is one staff member for every 15 guests for 5 to 7 hours.

Rentals: Chef Ted has his own rental equipment, which includes 85" white cloth linens, white cloth napkins, gold-rimmed china, glasses, silverware, tables, and chairs. Usually around $6-$12 per person. Quality Black Plastic products are $2.00. If the host prefers a more extensive collection of linens, china, etc., they are more than welcome to rent from local vendors; however, Chef Ted's rentals are less expensive!

Tax: 9.0% on gross sales.

Terms: 50% deposit. 50% due on the day of the party. Receipt of deposit finalizes contract and especially the terms. All University accounts billed through Procurement Services please include P.O. Number. Chef Ted's UVA vendor ID is UVA943279.
